PACKING YOURSELF
Mini-Storage
This area may seem impossible, but it's not! :-) For packing yourself in the mini-storage unit, just follow along with these moving and packing tips, and you'll be fine! I would suggest a nice day to do this, as you will probably have to remove a lot of things to get to the packing part. Unless of course you did the packing before you put everything into the storage unit. First of all set up a folding station for yourself. What works best for me is: A 4.5 cube carton with the bottom flaps folded closed and just one piece of tape to hold it closed (about 6 - 8 inches). Do not fold the upper flaps down as you would if you were making this box up for packing. Then fold a 3 cube in half and lay on top of the 4.5 cube. Then put 3 of the book cartons on top of the 3 cube. Stagger them so it is the same size of the newsprint. Put a generous amount of newsprint here and PRESTO! you have a comfortable folding area. Now it's time to make up several different sizes of moving boxes. And get busy with all that packing! Oh, you want me to come help? OK, be right there! Oh, sorry, I just got a call for another job. But, seriously, all the packing tips at this website will guide you through this and make you a pro in no time.
