PACKING MATERIAL

When you're packing yourself, an important item is the packing material.

Are you going to buy new moving boxes? Or will you try to find used moving boxes? This decision will probably depend largely on your moving budget. No matter which way you go, we will try to help you figure it out.

The two following pages will explain your choices. And don't think you have to go with all new, or with all used moving boxes. Mix and match according to your individual needs.

<<>>

There are many specialty boxes available today for a variety of packing situations:

* There are wardrobe boxes for your hanging clothes.

* Tall lamp cartons for long items (and of course floor lamps!)

* Heavy duty dishpacks for kitchen packing

* Special boxes for computers, and microwaves

* 2 and 4 piece mirror packs for pictures and mirrors

* long narrow boxes for guns and rifles

Besides the boxes, you will also need packing paper (newsprint), tissue, bubble wrap, tape and a tape gun, and the large paper pads are good to have on hand. You will use these to easily wrap up large items like lamps, pictures, statues, and pottery.

So enough with all the talk, let's get packing!
