MOVING COMPANY'S GOAL
North American Van Lines is extremely qualified in the moving industry. Way back in 1983 Ron & I decided to go into business for ourselves. We lived in Wisconsin. North American Van Lines was having a seminar at a hotel in Milwaukee, Wi. and we decided to check them out. Their headquarters is in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. So, to make a long story short, we signed up with them as owner/operators. We bought our first truck, and they taught me how to drive it. Ron already knew how to drive and was very talented at backing up. Me -- I always have to stop & think (even today) -- which way do I turn the wheel to go that way?! Anyway, they were the #1 mover at that time (and I'd like to think we helped them achieve that!). For many years we were Vanguard Drivers, top of the line. That means we had very few claims and EVERY shipment was picked up and delivered on time. North American is still an excellent company to move with.
