These VERY important items should be transported by you. This moving checklist of important items to haul yourself is well worth reviewing.

Whether a moving company is moving your goods, or you are moving everything yourself, it is wise to safeguard irreplaceable items.

You never know if something bad is going to happen. And it is better to be safe than sorry!

Professional moving companies have GREAT safety recods, but accidents DO happen. So carry the important items listed below yourself, or you could ship them via UPS or FedEx and have a tracking number.

In either case we would like nothing more than for you to have a safe and uneventful move! :-)

Items you should transport personally:

* Jewelry, Coins, and other small valuables

* Keys for file cabinets and Grandfather clocks

* IRS tax Records

* Financial Records on paper or on computer disks

* Photos and Photo Albums

* Irreplaceable mementos
