LONG CARRY

A Long Carry is an added charge to a moving estimate.

Is your house or apartment too far from a safe loading area for a furniture moving company?

If your residential moving company must carry all your household goods over 75 - 100 feet to the moving truck/van, there will be an additional charge.

When moving and relocating, this situation could happen at apartment complexes, or houses with long driveways. Also if the distance is too great, a shuttle may be required.

These charges are based on weight. So obviously, if there is an auto being shipped, make sure that weight is subtracted before your additional charges are figured.

There may also be additional charges if you have stairs/elevators, a piano, bulky items, and appliances that need to be serviced and prepared for the move.
