* Contacted utility companies
* Contacted cable & ISP companies
* Made reservations at Motels you plan to stop at. (and ask about pets)
* Be sure to have your cell phone, charger & address book
* Carry your checkbook & don't forget wallet and/or purse
* Be sure to have pet food, water, leash, meds and a carrier. Also pet papers from vet
* Returned books & videos
* Picked up laundry at cleaners
* Picked up belongings from friends & relatives. (dishes, jewelry, clothes)
* Loaded box of important papers, including car insurance info
* Loaded the Bare Necessities Box into car or truck
* Fill up fuel tank
* Keep out a cooler for snacks, lunch, & drinks
* Choose some games or activities for kids while in transit
* Contacted a cleaning service, otherwise, have a vacuum, and cleaning supplies set aside for this task
