I will start this page with my own funny moving story:

Back in the fall of 1970 (I remember because I was pregnant with my 2nd daughter), my husband, daughter, and I were moving from Midwest City, OK to Milwaukee, WI. My younger brother (Mike) came to help us move. We rented a large moving truck and towed the car behind. Because there were 4 of us, we took turns riding in the car.

We stopped somewhere in Missouri for gas and everyone went to the bathroom, stretched, and got some snacks. It was Mike's turn to ride in the car. So after paying for everything, my husband went back to the truck to drive. Everyone was ready -- or so we thought!

Mike was NOT in the car yet and as he saw us starting to pull out of the gas station, he came out running!! But we were watching for traffic & didn't know he wasn't in the car. He got to the passenger side door of the car, but it was locked! So he had to get to the drivers side door, and all the time the truck was picking up speed. Happy to report, he made it!

This must have been a strange site for anyone watching. And we didn't know anything about this until our next gas stop.

We still laugh about this today! And NO, Mike, we were not trying to get rid of you!

OK, now it's your turn. Send in those stories!
