Hello, and welcome to this "About Us" page. My name is Jan Mueller. My husband, Ron, and I have been involved in the moving business since 1983.

We started out as drivers and traveled all over this great country!!

But, backing up a bit, this is how it came about. We were both factory workers living in the midwest. North American Van Lines was advertising for new owner-operators in the spring of 1983. They were going to have a seminar in Milwaukee, WI. Ron and I attended, and THAT was the beginning of a new adventure for us!

We knew we wanted to do something different, so we enrolled in the North American Training Course and bought our first truck. They taught me how to drive. (Ron already knew how) And we both learned about the moving business. This was an intensive 3 week training course, which ended with a 1000 mile road trip/test.

Starting Our New Adventure

Then we were dispatched for our first loading assignment. That was a memorable trip! Boy! I sure could tell you some stories! Most all our customers have been absolutely GREAT! (but you never seem to be able to forget the bad ones)

Anyone who knows us, knows that our customers ALWAYS come first. We have even delivered on week-ends and holidays if it was necessary. And by over-delivering service, we always made our customers happy!

After being everywhere (and more than once!), we chose to settle in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Time For A Change

And as time went on, we decided that all the traveling and hard work wasn't what we wanted to do anymore. And moving IS hard work! So we started a packing service. We now contract to some major moving companies.

We also moved ourselves, A LOT. So this site is quite extensive. But if there are questions you have that we have not addressed, feel free to contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Now For A(another)New Adventure!

I have always dreamed of having a home business. And we are now building a new business right here. With the high cost of fuel, it just made sense to us to do a work from home business. I'm such a home-body anyway! :-)

And SiteBuildIt! was the answer to our home based internet business!

Who would have thought that information could provide us with an income? EVERYONE knows something about SOMETHING! And our "something" is the moving business.

I do most of the website building and managing. Ron does NOT like computers! He is more of a physical person. So while I'm working in our home office, he's out cutting firewood, or building fences, or taking care of the lawn and garden.

We both work hard and I think that's what keeps us young!
